Welcome!

I am a Quantitative Researcher at Balyasny Asset Management. My work spans applied AI research, including agentic systems, domain-adapted language models, and text embedding models for finance, alongside machine learning for systematic equity strategies. 

Previously, I was a Senior Research Scientist in the machine learning group at Lifion by ADP. 

I completed a PhD in mathematics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, working in computational learning theory, the field that develops the mathematical foundations of artificial intelligence. I was fortunate to have Lev Reyzin as my PhD advisor. Before that, I received my bachelors and masters in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram.
